"Stopped in a small hillside
+ dried in a small temple.
Before reaching this place
we found by a small lake
in which several fishing
Canoe, were seen. The shore
in place, was planted to
lotus which were in flower,
some white, others pinkish
& very gorgeous with the
setting of the green canker
leaves. Few grebes were
seen in the lake but no
ducks or swan birds, the seas
being too early for them.
On either borders of
our field grew many
small poppies in flower, a
small creeping net. Formerly
the man was
planted to poppies where
corn is now grown. Don't
no mention came to year.
