Protective gray as viewed from the side. It was so far away that it & Moose could not be seen. Fired hammer 3 times, but before whirring it up hill. At the shots it seemed puzzled but made no quick comment, simply took a few steps slowly & seemed being different of sight. We made below down to the position just opral for could not find it all. We tried bunching & waited a half hour. Later about 3:30 I jumped a large goril on a small rocky cliff which bounded away at bounds. Only fought before could get my rifle from the gun beaver. No evident of Gorons, bears, or monkeys was seen in the whole camp except a rabbit pile never everywhere in lonely hillsides.
