Pch - houi - White Water The camp was situated on this Creek at 10,000 feet altitude. about 4 miles from the base of the Snow nin Peaks. North stream runs in a rather deep V shaped valley the sides coveredly forest of pine, spruce, & hemlock of land. The creek bed is wide + shallow with an even regular descent + no rapids here. The bed is cover by lythragony or whitish limestone rock which does given rise to hummng in places from the forest debris. Ledges + boulders occur through out the meadows in black spruce, Trees - 1 Spruce - common tree. 2 Pine (white) Armandi Open seen everywhere, near Mt. 3 P. (Black) Maximiana Common on the drier hillsides only. 4 Hemlock. Seen chiefly n Blackwater in moist spots. 6 Larch Common with Spruce on moist slopes turning brown. 7 Juniper Druif - fristrate Common on rocky open hillsides near rocky banks of creeks.
