- Tigers - Jahoo a copy. Blue tiger seen at close range by Caldwell in a rice terrace. At first he thought it was a man developing blue color. Caldwell shooting his own men in field close by & didn't take the risk, Seven tigers, seen at first sight by whole village, one of which is possibly one which would account for a color phase. Blue tiger seen in rice fields for some minutes at Songthor & then it walked away & a normal colored one appeared & followed it away. Tiger mate in Feb. Spring in March & April & are change quite very bold. They are most suspicious & are easily blamed. Caldwell has shot all his 8 tigers in the winter & spring when the air is cool & the vegetation is killed by frost & very little cover left for animals. There are in the winter few people in the fields & more in the forest gathering fire wood & charcoal
