26 Our results in the 60 mouse traps were only 1 spring mouse. A fair number of new birds were shot during the morning. At noon we drove hillside for wild boar but without seeing or hearing any game. A few tracks of pigs seen in the rice fields, nearly which are still unharvested. Wild boar go solitary usually or at most a & with several young. Caldwell has only shot one inchkina. Andrews came in from the lost camp at 2 P.M. We were visited by a heavy rain storm from 4 o'clock to 7 p.m. The camp damaged by thunder. This storm prevented us from setting out any traps for the night. Kellogg & we are out setting traps for tiger this both got caught & thoroughly soaked. 27 Caldwell caught 2 spring rats 1 one water rat in lub D's style rat traps but there was nothing in my mouse traps.
