coldest weather being about 34° The mission school is situated on a hill overlooking the city. The buildings are large & roomy & fine shade trees adorn the grounds. I saw here a cleari tree in fruit. It has small leaves & hard red flesh like a holly somewhat. Many birds were seen in pictures, In the school they have a large collection of local bird, made by a lady dentist in Topeka.
