front from the ancient Spanish walls of the city is laid out in a beautiful park somewhat lawn covered with the sunela or circular driving way in the center. three hotels surround the whole. I have seen nowhere in the tropics a better or more sanitary city. The people etc or motives show no disease practically there are few cripple or beggars seen in the city. The usual work conveyance here is a small headed dog cart drawn by a pony called a calesa . This peculiar to the country & driven by a native + fairly well goted boy. Two fruits near to me
