Co Pang walking about in the rice fields planting. They do most of the work & their men are idle x weak muscled compared to their wives. The country further inland seems much directed by heavily model small hills, valleys narrow x evenly rice fields, forest scenery. Then, as now we stopped at a station for lunch. After Ben just before reaching there we passed through three plantations on the hillsides growing on hilly ground roots of Me. Beyond this point, the bush is dense jungle of bamboo trees grow- ing on small hills with slits narrow rice field between. At Trai Hut station beyond the rice fields are few & the road winds between small woods covered with that dense jungle of bamboo forest as thick as any I have ever seen. Wild bananas & cocoa nut tree & tall cane grass abundant.
