The shops are large and well
stocked but many of them
are now closed because of
the darkness.
[28] In the morning we
visited the Manager of the
railroad regarding our luggage.
The delay necessary at a steam
cave in began Taubay. The
head of the government within,
the charge of political affairs,
gave us every courtesy and
edge with permission to take
around anywhere in the country.
The Industrial Museum
near the station is fine exhibit-
it is in a beautiful building.
At the Geological department
we met Dr. Marzway
who showed us then the
building & the museum.
They have a splendid lot of
garlic maps of Tunisia. There is
here the beginning of a Zoological
Museum, open snakes,
lizards & some shells of
animals etc. In the after-
noon collected me a forest who
