Lunch at hmr 7½ = 45½° 7. our three boat on deck All went well till 2:35 p. & then the engine stopped. While Hendrix was working over it, K.R. & Peter hoisted the sails - We were off Saunders Is. Water very open a half hour or so I work put the engine in order again, sails were lowered we went on under power 3 p.m. off Mount Granville Bay temp 38° cloudy. Considerable ice befor Granville Bay & Booth Sound there was much ice on bergs big & little, pans & bits. Interest ing to watch them thread bay two. Now '½, now full speed
