yellowish & pink quartzite.
Place where we anchored night
of 14 Sept 1915 looks insecure
enough. Glacier is very
dirty. Sea open in every
direction. Many bergs
Some walrus but not so many
as last Sept

more precipitous & thus very
small amount of slopes.
