I sent Captain Corner ashore with
K.R. to get measured for a pair of
kannas, much against G.P.'s
apparent wishes.
Narsak is on a plain that looks
from the sea to be formed from ten-
minal moraine of former
glacier. Water in little cove is
very shallow and abounds in
luxuriant laminarias. The
numerous bowlders in the cove
which protrude at low tide show
the rounding due to action of
the yearly ice.

Under way again at 9.11°. Weather
has become much clearer better
though there still are heavy
