but the willows on the hills are only just now coming out in blossom. All are very small and twig like. Have seen none as large as those at Parker Snow Bay, and no poppies or cock- lurin - only a little saxifrage. 6 July Friday. Bright morning, but thinly overcast afternoon and early evening warm. Made farewell calls on Balle [illegible] thanked former again in name of Mry's. and Bickel. Mr. Balle received letter from H.F.O. + was much pleased with it.
