Box No 2 Zoological Specimen 16th Sep. 1841 This Box has the fossils, Shells, Linten and other indicators of having been opened. The Box contains chiefly shells, insects, &c. &c. apparently fossil. Their localities are given above. The slight. Gray Bay & Rio de la Plata. Box No 3 Botanical Specimen 18th Sep. 1841 These Boxes do not appear to have been opened. Each contains a Tin Case. The Contents of the Box are dried plants & sections of Monocotyledons. The whole nearly ruined condition. No. 2 & 3. some cells of plants from Brazil & Patagonia. Chile & Peru. Box No 4. Botanical Specimen 16th Sep. 1841 Box No 5. Botanical Specimen 16th Sep. 1841 These two Boxes (Draconian) appear not to have been opened, they enclosed each a Tin Case Contents 13 stained specimens from New Holland & the Pacific Islands.
