85 it from the ridge rising between the Clueft and Comer glaciers. Crossed the hum-morsey lower middle portion of this, wh. Stflow agrees with me in thinking to show ice action. Then we went down into the valley separating this ridge from the southern lateral moraine of the Comer glacier and up onto that Moraine. Saw nothing but graiss - Followed the shallow depression be- tween the upper part of the moraine and the ice down to the western end of the glacier. Ice shows beautiful overturned folds and thrustfaulcts near its front, and therefore is to be considered an active glacier.
