Landing place, basaltic columns, one igloo should show. Southeast of where the landing was made there is a boulder beach - formed by the stream issuing from the canyon. The columnar basaltic lava forms the shore for half a mile + at Sar- falik and westward. The mass of Cape Alexander is made up of Huronian (?) quartz ites with interbedded lavas and sills. Heat feeding dikes are seen in some places. 11,3 4/90 Walrus group in the water - Near Sarfalk (Seltwadi)
