I steered at about /12:30 we reached the little core [south] east end of Cape Alexander promontory where Freireck found Ekblew in August 1914 - We cast anchor in poor holding ground and put a long line ashore which was made fast around a column of basalt- = Sarfalic (or Sorfalik) on Sonntag Bay - Two (perhaps 3) glaciers discharge into this bay and they kept us guessing what the bergs^ast from them would do to us - 14th Got a very little sleep during rest of night but a strong N. or N.E. wind came down on us about Three a.m. and gave us plenty to do to keep out trouble - Hendrik got the engine fixed up, but we could not leave, because wind was too high - H.F. Sigdy went ashore to adjust.
