Transcription
indurated and blunt at maturity when the villous
pubescence becomes prominent. Mostly gibbous on the
back so that the are appears unequally divided.
Upper palea, even in the young state convex & also
conservatively grooved when young. The acute & blunt
recurved apex usually projecting beyond the lower
palea. Callus very short the hairs scarcely longer
than the pubescence of the palea.
Are 2-3 times as long as the flower, tinted below & slightly pubescent
