This species which is a very abundant one
has a wide range. Dr James collected it in
the forests of the Mississippi or Long's told me
have it from Texas in the State of Coa -
India. The species present a variety of
forms some with very slender panicles with
distant racemes & others with a very much
crowder inflorescence. Some of our species
agree internally with the figures above given
& we refer the whole as above written
much doubt.
