Presidio del Norte Parry; Camp Buale Noble st.ery, Creek Boylow; Barro Ints., Autzalle, Sonora Thurler; No 810 Wrights ovl 1849. We refer the above species to P. leneophlacum B.S.R. which seems to be a very variable Species and has been described under other Synonyms than those stated above. An specimen agree as to the spikelets with a Calumn Specimen by Wurwold[?] though the panicle is more simple & contracted - but in this respect they differ greatly among themselves as well as in foliage. Passy & Wright's specimens have which panics greently in width & barring, in some quite knott - But plant is distingished by the remakable silberup of the flowers which is Brilliant white - becoming ferruginous at anlt. dirty - Branches of the panicole closely spayed in the young state spreading when old. Spikelets as pairs 1 long & 1 short pedicelled - 2 1/2
