The specimens are very like the typical form
of which we have Specimens from Africa
but there is but one spikelet in each of
the involucres, Details of the involucre scabrous.

These agree well with the detailed description in
this Supplement of - The Species is quoted as a syn-
onym of C. Dominatus by Fri. but our Specimens
are sufficiently distinct both in habit & form of
involucres.
