Bromus unioloides Wild? NBR1. p.157?
Ceratochloa unioloides Beauv. agrost 75. t.15.p.7.
Bromus wildmanii Mkh. Gram. 1.134 & Savi 1.46?,
Texas, Wright, Lewisville - collected also by
Capt Pope - There seems to be great con-
fusion respecting the grouping of this species
which probably comprises several nominal ones -
Of the middle of the foliages & presence of one
short awn are the only characters which distinguish
B. (Ceratochloa) brevisetatus, Hork - H. Bo. Aw that
two must be added to the list of synonyms - as
he is found in the same specimen & even in the
same spikes with lower
some sorts with longer
same spikelets paleas merely acute & thus being
a distinct awn as assigned by Horkle -
Bromus carniatus, Bkth & Arn. Bot. Beechey. p.403?
