Miculis & Nos: 2 inflo & 1 schron def. like Arundus tota, etc. fertili. N. 123 is "Calhestum Austratum" Presl." This belongs to Chloridee and cone, very close to Melanocorinis Pces. The Genus requires considerable alterations in description. Glumes of the lower flower very unequal, white, we scarcely seeable. Lateral cante of the poles, only are furnished. White color as far as to inner. R. upper and arched flowers, the glumes, are quite as awned and certainly have with flumose awns to 2 1/2. Chloridee N. 124 is "Eltmis alba." Presl.
