A perennial shrub with numerous, slender
stems short spikes & silvery silicate leaves,
having dense compact cylindrical spikes
from the summit.
A polymorphous & puzzling species
the wholly feminine flowers, which
are the more common, being very new
Entremine multisetos has. It differs from
that in its much longer setae to the
pistile & its solitary spikelets.
Sometimes the spikes are wholly staminate,
& again with staminate & mixed below
with merely rigid paleace whorls past it
long armed pubesc, with a fascicle of
at the summit of the spikelet.
