Awns oblong-lanceolate, scabrous on the back, minutely ciliate on the margin leaving 3 long slender scabrous filaments awns 4 times its length. at the apex - stigmas plumose, seed elongated with a soluble pericarp, upper flower long pedicellate & aristate, awn equaling none of the perfect fl.
