Is in center of Port Stanley, e. side of Malekula. Tana [= Tanna.] Tana Asori [= Tanna]. Tangarika [ = Tongariki], Tangice: islet with 2 notable clumps 140 ft. high; on s. side of Espiritu Santo. Tangoa [= Tongoa]. Tangoa: islet on s. side of Espiritu Santo, about 2 mi. w. of Carlo; 1400 x 600 yards diam.; 170 ft. high; upraised coral; inhab. Presbyterian mission sta- tion here. Speiser (1913) says one half of the id. "is cleared and covered with a green lawn." Tanna: size variously given as 40 x 35 mi., 30 x 10 mi., and Aeparl. Aipecrouma. Hydrographic Pilot says 20 x 8 mi.; mtns. rise Aipere. Asore. to 300 ft.; Mt. Yasua, in s. e. part of id. is Tana.
