species of birds collected by them on "Balaou" are known to occur
on Ovalau, and the spelling given on the chart of the expedition
is "Obalaou", so there is not much doubt of the identity. My
reason for calling attention to the matter is due to the British
Museum Catalogues and also Wiglesworth treating "Balaou" and
"Ovalau" as two islands.
