time I've looked though rather thoroughly.
Afternoon went in search of Pleiones
which Mr. Horn had seen this morning.
Fly was found in the second growth trees
of the end of the lagoon: saw 3 or 40
individuals.
Evening at 7 p.m. slate obtained 2.
Weather: Broken overcast with nightly rain.
Still high water, rising slightly.
Apr. 27 Bernad Camp. During R. Netherlands New Guinea 50m.
21 mm traps, 253 net traps, 27 stub traps,
652 spones - 2 Echyimura, 1 Agyelomyx, 1 Melonys
Shot - 1 Pycistella, 1 Embelloma, 18 Pleiones.
Day spent in preparing specimens. Evening
out for bats.
Weather: Overcast with occasional breaks, rain in
evening.

This morning tended traps, prepared
specimens, and spent 3-1/2 hrs looking through
the imported fruit in the bend
of the lagoon.
Afternoon sent traps. 17 mm traps.
234 net traps.
Weather: Overcast with occasional breaks, foggy
morning; evening rain.
