This morning afternoon went for a short hunt from the river. Spent rest of afternoon packing material for adjacent. The evening went out for bats and jacking. Very few bats seen, and in normal sun by traced light. This morning Bruce left for Burntad Camp with bags and luggage. Actually he is going to a small adjoining camp at the foot of the hills some half hours distance from Burntad Camp. Weather Broken overcast with sunshine during midday. Evening rain. Apr. 8 Burntad Camp Hunting R. Metherlands for Guinea 850m. No traps. Left 850m camp this morning at 7.00 and arrived Sun at 9.00. Reed and I had 27 canoe loads ranging in weight from 18 to 25 kg. Following is list of my equipment with weight - 4 msn traps, 22kg each; Can #77, 6kg; 2 cartridge boxes 2 1/2-3 1/2; Box # 41, 8 kg; Large can alcohol, 12kg; Codi, 20-22 red; Box # 4, 1.5kg Box #3, 16; Lee, 25kg.
