This morning tended traps and prepared specimens. This afternoon gathered mammals and birds and spent part time resetting 149 net traps. This line is set N.E of camp along a ridgy top leading toward the Darling. Weather: Early morning overcast, clearing for sunset then and clearing up again with light rain forming. Afternoon overcast. The morning spent tending traps, preparing the specimens and developing pictures. The afternoon reset 71 net traps. Several canoes came in from the Darling today. A note from Bird said that he was staying the evening at 800m camp due to upset stomach. Shot it flat as usual this evening. Out fishing from 24.5 to 10.15. Saw lots only. One large limit but saw several tuna.
