The first state man camp and work went to the west along the north side of the hill slope. It crosses several small stone and ridges and continues on to the main ridge. This is followed up over the crest of the hill, going the west of the hill and to the main trail back to camp. The region is that of rain smorgy fruit. The afternoon prepared traps for tomorrow sitting, charged locality 1 area and checked the monthly store. This evening let one man flying at 6:30. Two spruce on a bat while foreigners about 30 half way up the hill. It does the ground (bell away) up the slope two. The other smaller bat while foreigners about the third half slope of the dome second story growth. After dinner went out with a flash lamp. No much it shine any eye. The flies set at 193 mouse traps and 10 steel traps. The afternoon set at the remainder of the steel (18); hunted a short time in the front seat of camp, and rested.
