Today prepared specimens and packaged
material for the transport to the other camp.
The following is a list with weights of equipment
ready to go down.

The weather:

The following were brought in by natives: 4 Melomys,
4 Perreeta, 6 Eparcozale, 1 Cadronica,
4 Pandorinae, 11 Melomys, 6 Stenomyge,
4 Ariomys, 1 Dasyurus, 1 Hydromys.
The morning started traps and prepared
specimens. This afternoon went in search of a
trapping locality in the next slope of
the Bar-Day (Built the small steam camp).
It was, although favorable for trapping, too soon
disturbed by pigs, rendering it unsuitable.
About 7:00 a.m. transport left this morning
for the camp on the Bread River. All Dyaks (casks),
Convicts, and many soldiers. The American party led
