The chosen posture is:
At least 3 different bird are standing [illegible] the
head up, neck thin, bill open, slightly above
the horizontal. The head slightly forward, copral
exposed but against the body.
Birds hold this posture for
minutes at a time does not
seem to be equivalent to gular farming as they
bird stand in the shade or next to bird in a normal
posture.
One girl flew at another a short (10+ ft) distance
away, neck forward, bill open, no call.
The open bird clearly
shows the red mouth
lining.
