Crasquins Feb 18 Punta Suarez, Isla Espanola (Hood), Galapagos. Spend some time watching a small group of Crasquins. 2 birds sitting together on a ledge, each preening itself, when one stopped, pulled the beak in, and tossed the bill up to vertical, 3 times, then continued preening. No reaction from the other birds. At the top of each toss it gave a soft "whew" call. Another bird carrying a small pebble in its bill circled slowly down to the cliff the wing 1/2's open and feet dangling, first calling a rough well
