(26) House Wren - at two coastal stops. No eye mask.
a mudelin one at the last stop. Sings like Calif.
bird does.
(27) Woodpecker: one at 2nd beach stop. white belly
and face, black tail, scarlet (deep) back and crown,
unifrom. One at the last stop had a grey crown and
the other there dotted brown wings. how many species?
clumby flight. short yellow bill.
(28) "Gran" - blacke backe, pale greeny belly, white
sides to tail big, crested [illegible] level. seen in flight
from the car.
(29) Myiarchus - at last stop. lookes like Wied's
Crestles. silent.
(30) Flycatcher - kingbird size; uppour wings & tail,
not visible in flight, yellow belly, grey level & breast.
brown backe, black eye mask. One at Humboldt,
one at last stop way up in a tree.
[? other kingbird, with white belly, dark black,
yellow (bill) + crown; in flight only on the ways in. ]
The remainder are not sure as to family, or seen
very poorly.
(31) large black Hawk, long tail, square longish
wings. white rump. tail? - in flight from car.
Vulturs size.
large ? unifrom Rufus eagle. do.
(32) Caracara csp.) widesprad but scarce.
