De Benedichs 1964 (93) Feb. 9 Academy Bay, Santa Cruz Island, Galapagos. Cavagnaro got back from all over. Cavagnaro had a beautiful land Dromius from Duncan which was completely unlike the Narborough one, and lots of two-pictures and geeks which I didn't see. Bug collector going mad this evening. Trace the following map of the Academy Bay region. Pass del Diablo is the large lagoon beyond which Dr. Miller shot his teal. Mostly the Tortuga Bay region is fairly straight forward. We landed near Pta. Estrada and walked along the coast. The old trail to the Ciguanes prob. runs a little more to the west than shown.
