SE ♀ got off nest J6.5, went to J7.12, no sign of ♂ around, now 10:50 he is feeding at J7.7, working towards the island. 10:52, still no bird on the nest, SE ♂ came in front of nest from SE. J7.24 to willows at K6 to to L4 where he found the ♂. There was some "poonking" there. Then with lots of billing, nibbling and preening they worked to K6.14, where they lingered, nibbling, then at 10:55 SE ♂ moved to K7, where the M♀ had been punting since he got off the nest, and the SE ♀ went over to the nest, being settled on it by 10:57 a. m. At K7 SE ♂ found M♂ lurking close by and promptly took after him, chasing him both above and under water to about J14. 3 times the SE ♂ went under water after the M♂, and once when the M♂ surfaced he one looked like a drowned rat. 11:00 a. m. I'm feeding W/B2 for the first time today, at I18. 11:25 a. m. SE ♀ on nest J6.5. 11:35 a. m. SE ♂ came out of K7, moved into willows at K6 and on S to L5. Incidentally, while the M♀ was out on shore in her copulatory display today, I noticed that she was VG legs. The bird I believe is M♂ has Wright X legs. 11:45 a. m. SE ♂ came out of cat-tails at J7 and moved N out-of-sight. 11:52 two birds fussing into the cat tails
