She moved into the open water and a moment later SE♀ came across from J6, chasing her to J9 where a paired display took place. 3:35 the 2♀♀ are still in paired display at J8. In this display the neck feathers are erected and the tips of the wings actually extend to the up-turned tail. Wing tips are crossed. 3:36 p.m.- SW♂ off the nest, 'pooching' at H7 while facing me at M9. A bird I take to be ♂♂ is at J9, indicating he would like to come in to join M♀ but he is apparently afraid to. I expect she won't attack him if he did venture in. SE→ waited until I was nearly to the nest before vacating it. All the eggs are gone from nest I6.1. #7 probably hatched, but I don't know what happened to #8+10. Nest warm as it is probably being used for brooding. Digging into the nest material I find egg shells mixed in layer after layer, as deep as I went. But no sign of shell from #8 or 10. W/Bl and (P/O?) feeding contentedly at N13. I'm not sure but that the scarred bird with w/bl is G/R. It is slightly smaller but just now I was able to acct for every bird usually at the S end, but I couldn't acct for both P/O & G/R as scarred birds. Not once
