The ♂ seemed to come from T 23, in charge position 5:49 of on 6 22, brooding at least 2 yrs. ♀ in clump nearly "points-unking." L/4 R3 both in nest. R2 found dead, floating on the water at 3 22.10. Egg #5 not yet pipped. Shell from last hatched still in nest. Tried to catch those SE ♂ but failed, examinod nest I6.1.- no eggs hatched yet, both parents in close, ♂♀were on nests J6.5 and I6.1. Examined area K7, platform at K7.4 defunct, at K 7.8 in good shape, and what may be the start of something at K 7.14 = Univ. Calif. Campus Alameda Co., Calif. 6:45 a m. checking the flock for social elminance etc, so far they are all contentedly poched together in SE corner of the area.
