Shield is in a small B class. it in rather wrinkled ground tho bare. Legs at least YG. Put a white leg band on this birds right leg. X/G - legs YG shield about the shape of class 10, but 10x10 mm swollen. Temper bad, as in the last 3 birds. P/O- shield B S, legs YG, temper not bad. Over numbered band on leg (rt). Br - legs match nearest JG on plate 21 of Maerz and Paul, my B category. Shield D/SS, temper not bad. Bird G- Y/B- shield 7F photographed in BW. Legs YG. Tags removed, yellow band on right leg. Bird W-R, legs D/YG, temps not bad, photographed BW-shield 10 SS. A fair sized testostereone pellet under the skin of this bird, and the incision sewn up. Egg #4 from nest M25.19 at Jewel Lake, measures 15.4 x 31.3 mm. This egg is about typical for those from that nest, 5 of which hatched out of 7. Lake Temescal, 420 ft., Alameda Co., Calif. 5:23 p.m. O is feeding in the South Bay at L2. 5:30 p.m. SE O on nest J6.S, the F was at L6. 5:31/8 p.m. a bird at K7, "punk-unking" when I went in there, one bird
