They are not letting the resident bird chase them as. W/Be constantly show white undertail coverts as she moved in. 7:37-all the Gots except the 3 at 48 seem settled for the night, but chase is still going on there as the 2 non-territorial birds insist on sleeping there. Time to check G22 and go home: 17:43 p.m. tagged ♂ on nest G22. May 6 same locality - 3:15 a.m. a bird on nest P6.5 sex unknown, 3:20 a.m. the E♀ apparently is on G22. The incubating bird had the back of its head to me and No tags could be seen. The moon is quite bright. Let just may be that they change over when the moon becomes bright enough, or high enough. Couldn't find the tagged bird in the usual haunts. This bird got off the nest when I went down to the shore-line. 4:00 a.m. I was mistaken, the tagged ♂ is on the nest now, and I believe there has been no change since due been here. About 3:55 a.m. The ♀ pink-necked 3. times at P16 and the ♂ answered with 2 "pink-who". A third bird replied
