The last couple of minutes he has been right in SE of the nest clump. 7:15 - quite a paired display at F 11 & E 12. No SW bird seems to be encroaching upon the W area, almost penetrating to the willow at E 12. Most of the display was out from the iris at F 11. 3. 7:25 a.m. E ♂ has been constantly in the nest area since 7:1a.m. Took a couple of color photos of the tagged E ♂. Also earlier one of the W side of the lake S from my position. Some about 7:45 (when I moved onto the slope across the road) the ♂ has moved S out of sight. The train passing by just E of this area does not seem to disturb the birds on the lake to any appreciable degree. E ♂ has been at Q 23 7:45 for a little while didn't see him come in, but now at 8:04 he came out of there and moved to Q 21 to feed along the cat-tails. W ♀ chased W ♂ from F 17 to H 19. The W ♂ belatedly came up to join her as she was returning. W ♂ is now 8:16 charging w/ 2L & UNM at G 22, he stopped there and is turning S and E. E ♂ still at Q 21- 8:18 a.m.
