I suspect this is the W pair since the M bird is a ♂. By 4:36 they were working back in towards P16 again, got to N15 before being chased out again at 4:38 to about L14. I had to drive to escape the assault of the splattering charger. At 4:40 the M-W bird attacked WLBE at about J15 and chased to J17. The tagged E bird is on the nest, the change having been made between 4:12 and 4:33 p.m. Now 4:44, the tagged bird is off the nest, sitting nearly silently in the cat-tails, as two dogs jump around me on shore. 5:59 the tagged bird is back on the nest while I went down to the N end of the lake. At 5:01, the E♀, "psoonking" and "punk-unking at P16 as I approached. So the bird on the nest is definitely the tagged ♂. I shall have to change my record accordingly. 5:09 another chase, sent with the E♀ moving out from P16 holding her head upright most of the time, and only once or twice— ```**
