The impression of such is obtained by the ♂ stuffing or erecting the feathers on the neck. I shall have to check this further. Now 4:05 E♂ bathing at Q23.12. The EF can not erect the neck feathers to any real extent. Perhaps this is true of all FF. I have noticed, watching this nest and the one at P6.5, that birds going into the nest always use the ramp! And except in emergencies, birds leaving the nest also use the ramp. The ramp on nest Q22.13 faces south and extends about 9 feet from the nest. Several times the bird coming to the nest has been seen carrying more material to add to the nest! And it almost always takes about 1 minute of fixing and adjusting before the bird is ready to settle upon the nest. 4:13 p.m. The SO♂ is moving around at P20, started S but is now going back N. 4:17 p.m. The ♂ at Q23 is pulking, 3 times. I have seen W/BL and the pinned bird (GR) and two marked birds Q & BL, but no sign of W-OL/B or O. W/BL and a marked bird (BL?) are at H11 maintaining Cool Company. The 4:25 the E♂
