He seems to be on the alert and hunting for something, he is paying no attention to a RD Ruddy coming into the E inlet. Now he sees them and a chase is under way. As he came up to the ↑, the Ruddy opened his bill and started to look aggressive, but the Cost swarmed and the Ruddy dived. E↑ then moved off to the S, after watching the Ruddy swim under him. 10:24 E6 back in nest area, passed on N didn't hang around, 10:25 he is back at P23, living for food. Now he is eating some more dead cat-tail material. He is ignoring three turtles in the area, but the turtle nearest where he is now bathing @ 23.13, became uneasy and moved off a ways. W18 feeding at T13 while the W pair feed at H11. Now they are billing in the same area. 10:36 – E↑ has been in nest area, that is P–R23 since 10:25. Now, 10:40, he is moving S from P22. A pinned bird which a assume is & R (other tag lost) just chased W18 from. J12 out to about J16. Now 10:50, & chased w-018 out from F16.
