the nest area. 5:35 he moved to Q20 the made a little ways then S again. 5:40
he has been back in the area for a couple of
minutes now. 5:41 here come the Buddies
in again, he started out as if to cut them
off then went to the point at P23. The
Buddies later moved off N(5:42). 5:44
he is back in the nest area again, passed by and moving on south. 5:50 he
returned to the nest area and is feeding
on the edge of the nest clump. 5:54 the ♀
is giving several low "punts" as the ♂
swims first S of the nest, then he took out around the P23 point to line at
Q24. Now he has moved back (5:59) to
Q23. 13 to farren. 0600 its own is
now on the tops of the trees high above
the W side of the lake. 6:05 he left went
to Q25- Now 6:09 he is back to S of
nest clump. 6:13 he is feeding at Q20.4,
now he has moved on S. 6:21 he returned
to the nest area, stayed for a moment
before moving on to R23. By 6:26 he
was back S of the nest area again. At
6:29 the ♀ was giving some pecks onto
nest. 6:33 after being N of P23 for a couple
of minutes ♂ returned to Q23. 6:39, ♂
at Q23 gave 3 "pecks". 6:40 sun is
on the cat-trails at P23. 6:49 ♂ came E S from P23 to P21, then turned
in and back to nest area. 6:52. he has
gone to R23. 7:01 ♂ just passed E of
nest clump on way S. E a short time
later these seemed to be a little Disagree
