The orange tends to flood out the blue color. The sun however is directly above the bird. The ? on the nest at 8:22.13 gives an occasional "poonk" from the nest. She has been off the nest once for about one minute during the last hour. Several birds swimming at G/16 have their heads elevated, in an alerted condition. Now the 3rd bird moved out of that area and two birds are billing there. Now W-0/\B moving in, the other two birds move off. W-0/\B moving up to N/BE & UNM at J/16, both birds lifted their tail coverts, and while continuing to preen, moved away to the E. No bird on the nest now 12:59 p.m., one was down towards P/16, the other north of Q/23. After the ?(north) gave a few calls pt of the area, the ? came up from the S, gave some notes and after a moments sparring, the ? went onto the nest! Now 1:57, W-0/\B, N/B? and ? are together at H/11, smoothly preening. The nest at F/16.2 has nearly completely disintegrated. Apparently no one longer used even as a platform.
