A moment later SE O came out, chasing W O to T 11, displaying and then returning closely followed by both W birds. W O immediately returned to H 10. W O just penetrated to L 8, was driven back out to L 11 by SE & O. No notes, as usual, but SE O displayed W O did not. SE O has been off the nest for a few minutes 10:04 am., and just now climbed back on. SW O started to charge a bird concealed in the brush at F 9, but when the bird came out in the open, he stopped and turned back towards I 8. Apparently it was his mate but he had failed to recognize her half hidden form. SE O just chased the W pair from L 8 to L 11, and displayed. W O then chased SE O back to the L 9-10 line, and a short period display ensued, the W & cackled her encouragement. Apr 10 Univ. Calif. Campus Alameda Co., Calif. V8 displaying on the platform by the wall, V16 was only bird to respond. W8 onto platform by water edge with V6 O close behind. She displayed, tail coverts spread, deep arch, and slapping foot.
