GULLION 150 Fulica americana 269 April 1 Jewel Lake 5/10 ft., @ Contra Costa Co., Calif.- - nearby. Since another bird is feeding at L24, I guess there two birds at H11 are both S pair birds. The S pairs have doing a lot of billing etc in the area. EF 11-12. Haven't seen any copulation yet. Found nest P27.7 raided, all but 3 eggs completely gone. Recovered two eggs with big pieces missing, the 3rd egg was undamaged. The nest was somewhat messed up. The NP seems to be absent from the area also.
