One of the two birds in the general area SE of the island is feeding on snails as she works around the island. Her tail is elevated - another bird is giving the male "punk" in low tones at M25 - as she worked around her tail became higher - when she came opposite the O-O's position she displayed and swam away from him, giving a low "poon!z", then went on into the cove. He ceased his note, came out and moved S around the island, he looks pinned. The extra bird is with litter Fw-85 shield, probably the latter. One bird (O-O?) charged from <20 to H-27, charging his mate at H-29. (the 5th bird was at B22 - thos paw at C12). She sort of moved away from him circled around to the E while he dabbled and preened at +127 - then moved out to him - he (the marked bird) nibbled and bit at her bill, she reciprocated some, then moved off towards the cover. On the charge M (fw marked) passed within a few feet of a resting Ruddy and a pair of Golden-eyes, the Ruddy became momentarily uneasy, the two golden eyes ignored M.
